Straight from the beehive, this is a delicious treat – pure honey in it’s most natural state.
From Western Australian honeybees, the honey comes in a wooden frame which portions can easily be cut out of. The whole honey filled beeswax comb can be eaten and is lightly chewy and delicious. This is the perfect accompaniment to your grazing table – this photogenic addition never fails to impress. Especially when combined with a wheel of brie, taleggio or camembert.
Size
Each Frame holds a piece of honeycomb 425mm wide and 150mm high, containing 2.2 – 2.5 kg of premium honey, depending on the comb width. For retail purposes, each comb could be cut into 10 pieces 85mm x 75mm each.
Storage
Honeycomb does not go off if stored correctly (in a dark, dry location at a temperature between 20 – 30 degrees celcius away from water and steam).
